‘DANCING WITH THE PRESIDENT AND FIRST LADY’ TONIGHT
The 2021 session of Alabama A&M University's Dancing with the President and First Lady goes virtual with "A Blast from the Past" on Friday, February 19, at 7 p.m.
This event is hosted by President Andrew and First Lady Abbiegail Hugine, “Dancing with the President and First Lady” is a once-a-year scholarship fundraising activity styled after the popular network television show "Dancing with the Stars."
The semi-formal event features couples who perform various dance routines in front of a live audience. At the conclusion of all performances, the audience judges and chooses their favorite duo with a show of applause. Only one couple is crowned the winner. This year's "A Blast from the Past" edition will feature the best of dance performances over the past decade.
Additionally, this exciting event has become a campus tradition that brings together university and community supporters for a night of fun, entertainment, and steps for a great cause.
