Alabama Governor, Kay Ivey states Alabama's mask order will expire at 5 p.m. on April 9, 2021. Also, on April 9, 2021, Alabama will begin the Safer Apart Order, which will be in effect until May 5, 2021 at 5 p.m.

“A Taste of Panoply”

For 2021, Panoply Arts Festival is schedule for April 23-25 in Big Spring Park. This year’s family-friendly festival will look different from previous years and will provide the community with an opportunity to safely interact and have fun while enjoying all things art.

There will be limits to touch points and close contact among festivalgoers. Only Friday evening will be ticketed this year. Saturday and Sunday are free for the public with a suggested donation of $10 per person.

Kenny Anderson announces the launch of a new podcast that will promote the Jazz in the Park- Huntsville brand, “Jazz with Kenny Anderson.” The new podcast will be produced by David Person and David Person Media, LLC. You will hear interviews from artists and hear their music.

The podcast will premiere on streaming services (TBA) on April 2, 2021 with a new podcast debuting every two weeks.

The new, modified order includes several changes. Alabama's mask order will be in place for another 5 weeks, until April 9, 2021. After April 9th, Governor Kay Ivey will not keep the mask order in effect.

The new Safer at Home Order makes changes to areas concerning senior citizens, summer camps, restaurants as well as hospitals and nursing homes.
