Congratulations to Alabama A&M University Communications Media major and WJAB-TV Intern, Morgan Marshall!
Marshall has been selected to participate as a 2023 HBCU Scholar Ninth Cohort for the White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence and Economic Opportunity through Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). According to the U.S. Department of Education Over 300 applications were received, 102 students were selected representing 29 states and countries. Those selected will have the opportunity to serve ambassadors of the White House Initiatives on HBCUs and take advantage on the opportunity to improve issue related to HBCUs. The White House HBCU Scholar Program also partners with NASA for the Minority University Research and Education Project Innovation Tech Transfer Idea Competition.
