The Academic Honors Convocation provides an opportunity for Alabama A&M University to recognize hundreds of student scholars for their academic achievement. The distinguished students will be acknowledged during the 2017 Academic Honors Convocation scheduled for Thursday, April 6th at 12:30 p.m. in the T.M. Elmore Building. At center stage will be all students on the Dean's List, Freshman's Dean's List, Honor Roll, Freshman's President's Award List and students receiving the President's Medallion. Also, special recognition will be given to the Honors Program participants, Honda Campus All-Star Challenge Team Members, Scholar Athletes, Alpha Kappa Mu Honors Society members and Outstanding Scholar students representing the Academic College of their major. The public is invited to attend.
