Alabama A&M Presidential Bus Tour

Taking higher education on wheels. Alabama A&M University set off for their Presidential Bus Tour Monday, February 19, 2018. The tour made stops in Alabama cities. During the tour, the administration provided over $16 million in scholarships and held on-site admissions for the future Bulldogs. The Bus Tour included President Hugine, First Lady Hugine, Miss Alabama A&M Aliyah Riley, Student Government Association President Julian Griffith-Battle, the Office of Admissions and more University figures. The tour ended February 23rd at 3 p.m. with a “Welcome Back” celebration on the University’s Quad.

Kiara Hurst is a Senior, Communications Media Major at Alabama A&M University. Hurst is a native of Nashville, TN. She serves as the Founder of a girls mentoring program called, "Go Girl" and the Editor-in-Chief of the student publication, "The Bulldog Times." Miss Hurst is a member of the Delta Delta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Hurst enjoys writing, dancing, and laughing with friends. Her life’s motto is “Know what the world says about you , then do the opposite.”
Rodricus Cureton is from Birmingham, AL and a 2015 graduate of Spain Park High School. He is a Junior, Mass Communication student at Alabama A&M University. He will graduate in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Art in Mass Communications, with a concentration in performance. Rodricus plans to attend graduate school at Howard University to continue to gain knowledge in the field of communication.
