National Hispanic Heritage Month

On the second Monday of each month, "This Week at Alabama A&M" host Michael Burns interviews staff and guests of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES).  

ACES is the primary public service and educational outreach organization for Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and Auburn University, serving residents in all 67 counties across the state. Alabama Extension, housed here at Alabama A&M University (AAMU), has staff in nine Urban Centers across the state and serves residents in 26 counties, including Madison, Morgan, and Limestone counties.

The topic of discussion today is Hispanic Heritage Month. National Hispanic Heritage Month starts on September 15, 2021 and runs until October 15, 2021.
