
B.J. Lewis
AnnouncerBrother “BJ” Lewis, originally from Jackson, Mississippi, grew up listening to the Blues and Old School Classics. He began his radio broadcasting career while stationed with the U.S. Army in El Paso, Texas, at the jazz radio station KXCR in 1989, where he earned his FCC Third Class Radio Broadcasting license. Prior to this, he owned and operated Mobile Disco Systems while stationed with the U.S. Army in Europe and Texas. He later relocated to Huntsville to work at Broadcast One, W-E-U-P 1600 AM/92.1 FM, before joining WJAB 90.9. Additionally, he had a brief stint at Radio Station WQFX 1130 AM/98.7 FM in Biloxi, Mississippi. Lewis has three children and two granddaughters.
