Guatemalan born and Los Angeles raised, Byron Gonzalez graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor's in journalism, with an emphasis on broadcast. Shortly thereafter, Gonzalez became the program director of Los Angeles' only 24-hour Latin Alternative radio station, The Latin Alt (latinalt.org). Shamane Mills is a reporter who has worked in both broadcast and print media. She worked as a reporter at the Wisconsin State Journal. She also worked as a morning news show producer in television. She has extensive radio news experience covering Madison city and Dane county governments for several years. She now reports mainly on health issues.
